In my most recent position as Adult Services Librarian for Pasco County I managed a team of three to determine key learning objectives based on feedback from the local community. I collaborated with my team to develop and structure educational content in a way that best delivers the information to patrons to most adequately meet the predetermined objectives. We provided classes on a variety of topics including cooking, sewing, finance, technology, health & wellness, and many others. My time as an Assistant Adjunct Professor for the University of Texas allowed me many opportunities to learn more about adult education and adult learning theory. I developed course content for a web-based course that I taught over the summer. The content I developed was a variety of media such as quizzes, videos, modules, discussion boards. I am thoroughly familiar and comfortable with multi-media in various forms and am familiar with many learning management systems.
